Madam Curi was on of th gratst scintists in th world. Sh was born in 1867. Sh first livd in Poland, thn wnt to Franc. Whn sh was vry young sh was intrstd in scinc. Sh workd vry hard and discovrd th lmnt radium. Sh rcivd th Nobl Prizs in 1903 and in 1911.

For th last tn yars of hr lif sh was almost blind. Th radium with which sh had workd for many yars had causd blindnss and illnss and finally a disas of th blood. Sh did in Paris at th ag o~ 66.

Today sh is rmmbrd as a grat scintist. But sh is also rmmbrd for hr dtrmination and courag.
